Installation
Tin Ceiling Tiles and Tin Ceiling Panels

Decorative stamped steel ceiling and wall panels are an exciting interior mix of texture and nostalgia. Patterns drawn from the past enliven contemporary and traditional styling with finely crafted detail.

Lightweight, noncombustible 2'x4' panels (Click-on for panel designs). and 4' cornice (click-on for molding designs) are manufactured from tin free steel .010 thick, then chromium treated for superior paint retention. When material is properly coated, no maintenance is required and cleans with soap and water.

Ceiling panels and cornices are shipped uncoated to allow custom on-site finishing. A coating must be applied to prevent corrosion. To maintain the natural metal appearance, a clear polyurethane coating is needed. Painting with a semi gloss or high gloss oil base paint is recommended (for metallic paints see crescentbronze.com). For installation in high humidity areas, prime or polyurethane both sides. For exterior applications, it is recommended to use a high quality automotive paint.
